The short film Đứa Trẻ (The Kid) opens up the story of an unexpected friendship between a Catholic boy and a Cao Dai girl living in the same neighborhood. As they grow closer, they discover surprising similarities between their two faiths—but their innocent bond soon draws the attention of their devout parents.
