In December 2024, 26 U.S. states banned gender-affirming care for trans youth. Medical healthcare should be accessible to all. Transgender individuals have fought tirelessly for acceptance, so why deny them?
The De-Type campaign mirrors the impact of forced de-transition by detaching elements of the Ambiguity font, creating letters that degrade in real-time to symbolize their struggle. This campaign isn’t just about law vs. freedom—it’s about self and body autonomy. It rallies the public to stand together and stop de-transition. With SDG 5 in mind, we understand that transgender equality isn’t just limited to the U.S.; it should be everywhere.
